My oldest elf character, Spidersilk was born not long after I started
reading ElfQuest, back in...'85? I think '85. She started out being a
Wolfrider-Goback char, way back then. For a while in the world of RPG,
she was a Wolfrider-Glider, and these days, she's long since settled into
being a full-blooded Wolfrider.
Her TwoMoons history runs something like this (bear in mind this breaks off from Abodean canon, if you're familiar with ElfQuest):
Born during Bearclaw's long reign at Lostholt, Spidersilk is an elf of a little more than 200 turns, making her technically a tribe elder. She tends, however, to behave rather more like a cub, living intensely in the Now and enjoying every possible moment. Sister to Shale, she is Skywise's aunt, and the family resemblance is strong, not only physically, but in a love for the stars. Lifemated to Springer, she is Skywise's aunt, and the family resemblance is strong, not only physically, but in a love for the stars. Lifemated to Springer, she has one cub, a boy named Quickfall who lives at Grove Holt. She is not particularly monogamous, frequently to the distress of her lifemate, and will flirt outrageously at the drop of a hat.
Despite her airy attitude, there is, in fact, a serious side to Spidersilk. When Lostholt burned, it was she who, with Cutter's benediction, lead a small group of the elves to the plains west of the Holt, while Cutter and the others took refuge with the trolls. Not long after Nightfall and Redlance returned to re-establish the holt, renaming it Lostholt, Silk and her band once again joined their tribesmates, bearing some new cubs with them, and mourning the loss of elders.
