"People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them."
--George Bernard Shaw

I genuinely can’t tell if this is an overwhelming amount of work or if it would really go very quickly if I would just get my act together.

George RR Martin has posted loads of new information about the casting for A SONG OF ICE & FIRE.

Kate Elliott talks about the reality of why some books get written and others don’t.

St. Rev posts about how flowers are pretty, but not intended for us. (Also a very funny story a couple days ago about what family dinners taught him about religion.)

Ursula Vernon has broken all of our hearts with her web comic, Digger. If you’re not reading Digger, may I suggest you write off accomplishing anything else over your weekend, and start at the beginning?
