Author Action Figure!

Mint in box! Life size! One of a kind! Comes with her own “Captain’s Chair” keyboard prop! Costume includes “Night Shade Books” T-shirt and realistic “growing-out roots” in the favored RogueTM hairstyle. (Office set sold separately, terms and conditions may apply.)

(We got our furniture today, and the sofa for my office came in a Very Large Box. Silliness ensued. I really want to use this for my author picture now!)

We (and when I say “we” I mostly mean “Ted”) got the futon put together for the library, and we took the sofa out of the box, and now we just need to put the rest of the artwork up and voila! It’s all done! If I get art up in my office tonight maybe I’ll post pictures of it. I’ve got to figure out what to put where! Oh, the trauma! Woe! Woe is me!

This lil’ guy was peering through a window as we walked down Blarney Street to meet with for coffee. :)

  1. *laugh* That’s brilliant! That would make a wonderful author photo.

And what an adorable little kitty. :)

  2. That’s not a cardboard box! That’s a caravan in cardboard form! :D

And that is one of the cutest cats I’ve ever seen! :)

  3. I really want to use this for my author picture now!

I think you should! Especially with the accompanying blurb you wrote, too. *grin*

  4. Aww! There’s a blackand white cat we see on a street we frequently drive. The house has an enclosed porch and the cat is frequently there, either watching the world or sunning his tummy. But it’s cheering to see him.

  5. But do you retain your value if you’re removed from box? I know how tricky it is with collectibles that have been touched by human hands…

And that is one cute kitten.

  6. So what you’re saying is…

    you’re a (Miz)Kit in a box.

I expect this photo to hang around for years, it’s just too funny. :>

  7. I dunno… the Author Action Figure looks a tad used}:P How do I know she’s still got a dozen or so more good books in her? }:P

    Yes, I’m evil.

  8. Oh, I’ll touch that collectible with human hands, baybee.

What I want to know is, is it anatomi

No, you know what, I’m going to cut that thought right off mid-expression, and just say, “Awwww, Kit Action Figure! Want one!”

  9. Do I dare ask if the Author Action Figure has kung-fu grip? Or Eagle-Eye movement?

And does it say something about my parenting-obsessed mind that I thought ‘She shouldn’t play with that plastic wrapping; it’s dangerous!”

  10. That is indeed a good photo. The plastic wrap adds the necessary suggestion of veracity. :)

recommended you as someone whose journal I should read. So, I’m going to take his advice. :)

  11. I thought the plastic wrap was a nice touch, myself. :) Welcome, and let us hope has not led you astray!
