Can anybody make a guess as to why, when I try to change LJ layouts, it completely borks on the front page of mizkit.com? I’m using javascript to embed the LJ into the index of mizkit.com, and it works if I use the Flexible Squares layout, which is what I’ve /been/ using, but I’m really very bored with it (although I still like it best of any of the LJ layouts, sigh) and so I’d like to try something else. Only I’m too damned inept (or LJ is) to make it work on mizkit.com. God, I hate LJ’s back-end. :P
eta, two seconds later: ok, apparently it depends on which layout I try to use, whether it borks on mizkit.com. That is, I suppose, *something*…
When I embedded LJ into my front page, I had to include a style ID in the bit of code I snipped from the LJ site. If yours has a style ID, you’ll need to find the ID # of the new style and replace it with that.
