Well, the one that makes me livid to think about was the HR debacle at my former place of employment. (story continues here, here, and here.) I suspect this is not what the question meant to ask, but it’s the answer I came up with anyway.

It left me.

Er. No. I have yet to see a hot car that also has good gas mileage. Cars with great gas mileage can be awesome, but I have yet to see a hot one.

I don’t answer questions like that in forums where my mother might read it. Or anybody else, for that matter.

I didn’t.

Where were you when you heard about space shuttle Columbia exploding?
Columbia? I’d just gotten up. I was at home. Challenger, I was in the car on the way to school. I still remember feeling sick and hollow.

Where were you when the World Trade Center collapsed?
I’d just gotten out of bed because my back was spasming so badly I could hardly breathe. I logged onto Too and someone said, ‘Somebody just flew a plane into the World Trade Centers.’ I went up and turned on the tv just in time to watch the second tower come down.

Have you ever used an Apple IIe?
Of course. Philistine.

Do you remember Friday Night Videos?
Er. No. What are they?

Do you know Where The Beef is?
If Deborah hadn’t said at Wendy’s, I’d have probably thought it was at McDonalds.

No, but I know that isolated prototypes of a cross-section of societal behavior patterns indicate that a predicitable population trend begins in the primary stages of adolescence.

No, and no idea.

Not anymore.

Yes.

Yes, Democrat.

When was the last time you were in a place of worship (church, temple, etc)?
Uh. We went into Trinity Church in NYC in 2002, and I think we went into St. Patrick’s and St. John the Divine’s Cathedrals, too. If you want to know when I last attended a worship, which is a different question, the answer is “Never.”

Sure.

Infuriatingly, what eventually happened was that I continued to refuse to provide the documents until they changed their policy, so instead, they took my immediate HR person’s word for it that I was in fact married to this man who had a different last name than I did. So, in short, from my persepective they continued to believe I was lying to them, or might be lying to them, but were willing to accept that someone in HR with the same information was telling them the truth. The whole thing just *pisses me off*!

    I *love* your icon. Waaaaugh. That was the Best Episode.
