Book Day!

COYOTE DREAMS is officially on the shelves today! I beg of you, go forth and purchase with all due haste! I have a lot of catching up to do to match Jim! :)

(‘s new book, GOBLIN HERO, is out today, too, if you needed more than one book to buy at the bookstore today, and I know how it is: you always need more than one book to buy!)

  1. Officially, perhaps.

I saw it on the shelves in Borders three days ago, though. :/

  2. Yay!!!..

Booo that i’ll have to wait till thursday to see if it came into realms in this weeks order..
    But..Yay!!!!

  3. It was in Hodges Figgis at the beginning of last week.

Probably only because I’d ordered a copy, though. :)

  4. That’s fine! Lots of places’ve put it out early. :)

    I love your icon. :)

  5. Aw … thanks for the plug!

And congrats on the book launch! As the Klingons say, “Today is a good day to read!”

(That line only works if you imagine Michael Dorn saying it. Forget Levar Burton doing Reading Rainbow. Get Dorn out there in full Klingon makeup, and we’ll terrify this nation’s children into reading!)

Okay, it’s possible I’m a bit overtired and goofy this morning…

  6. …but…Geordi…wasn’t…a Klingon!

(This is not the sound of me doing my best Kirk impression, but rather the sound of me clutching my head and reeling with confusion! well, not really, more like silliness, but that’s less dramatic, or something. :))

Congrats on your own book launch. :)

  7. Wait, did I imply Geordi was Klingon? If so, my bad. Though now I’m curious what he would have looked like with the bumpy forehead…

By the way, I checked your book over at Amazon. Wow! I know Amazon rankings don’t mean much in the grand scheme, but you’re kicking some butt with Coyote Dreams!

  8. I bought it over a week ago, and devoured it in a day.}:P

  9. Congratulations! We’ll pick it up tomorrow, probably. Exciting!

And, hee. I’m incapable of just buying one book. I always have to buy…three. I have no idea why that is, it just is.

  10. My copy from Amazon arrived last Tuesday (a week ago), just as I was heading out the door for San Francisco.

  11. Hah! It was out on the shelves at Barnes & Noble on April 21st, and I’ve already finished it.

  12. Mine arrived on Friday and Elise stole it from me because I said I couldn’t start it until I finish the book I’m reading now, and she can’t pick up her copy until she’s out of Kotlik. A day and a half later, she gave it to Elizabeth because she was finished, and wants to know when the 4th book will be available.

  13. I found my copy last week in the Roanoke Barnes and Noble. Friday the 25th, to be exact. Mmmm, book.

  14. I hear and obey. Picked it up at B&N just a few minutes ago. I know how I’ll be spending my evening! :)

  15. I decided to read a few pages before bed last night and instead stayed up until four am reading. THIS WAS SO GOOD!! Everything with Morrison was just…well, I can’t think of a proper adjective so I will close with: I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK.

As far as I’m concerned, this is consistently the best compliment ever. *beam* I love keeping people up all night reading. Hee hee hee. And yay, I’m glad you liked it! *beam*

  17. I bought it at Borders Saturday before last. And then I sat on the porch with shmoo and read the rest of the day.

  18. Who needs to go out and get it when I pre-ordered it from Amazon sometime back in September?

Just a wave from someone who absolutely loves the Walker books, and is devastated that the next one isn’t coming out til 2009. :(

  19. Question: How many books are enough?
    Answer: Just one more…
(I, too, ordered it in September from Amazon)

  20. I am sorry for your devastation! I hope you will like the other trilogy, too, and that it will ease your pain! I’m awfully glad you like the books, though. :) Thanks for letting me know. :)

That is a very funny icon. :)

  21. *giggles* “Just one more,” or, “I’ve got so many books in my arms I’m dropping them as I try to juggle them. I’d better get to the checkout stand before this gets any worse!”
