I have–I have not been counting, but I suspect it is in the range of–about a hundred million things to do this week. Approximately. More or less. Among them is starting to swim again, which is really kind of the thing I want most to do and also the thing that is hardest/perhaps least likely *to* do. This is partly because I’ve had a cold more of the last six weeks than not, and I am simply not confident of my energy levels, and I *need* my energy to write and do revisions, so I’m sort of afraid I’ll squander it if I swim. It’s all very complicated. *squinchy face* Possibly the smart thing to do would be to write during the day and go to the pool in the early evening. I used to swim after school all the time. In theory this should work.
I have to write–I don’t know, what’s 1700×5? 8500. Have to write 8500 words for NNWM. Actually, put down baldly like that, that doesn’t seem so bad, does it? And I have not yet begun revisions, so I need to really get on the ball with those. It’s already probably too late for me to manage to get paid this year.
Ok, it seems that that’s really only three things, but somehow it feels much more like a hundred million things.
At least I have already voted.
