Ted got up before me this morning, and fed the cats. I knew this. So I went into the kitchen to get breakfast for me, and instead found myself in the utility room, getting Lucy’s food down for her. I am a very well-trained human. Oh well. Lucy was happy. :)

Walking for Prevention
In a couple of weeks, my friends Bryant and Susan are participating in an “Out of the Darkness” walk, which is a fundraising support walk for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. They participated last year as well, barely two weeks after Susan’s husband and Bryant’s friend Wyatt committed suicide, and they will, I imagine, be doing this every year for the rest of their lives.
