traumatic shortcake experience
Ted went shopping this morning and came back with some shortbread cake thingies they were giving away, I guess, at the market. He ate one and thought it was wonderful, and broke another in half so I could try it, because I was slightly dubious. Busy day! I got up at *shudder* 6:15 and got on a train to Dublin, where I delivered and collected presents, wrote a limerick for Breic, took pictures of the boys, several of which will be on kitsnaps ( for the feed) over the next few days. christmas shopping
Apparently half of Cork had the same idea I did this morning and got up and went shopping between 9 and 11. I cannot imagine the horror that must be starting to swell the streets now. God, I hate shopping. Next year I’m making kitsnaps calendars and giving them to everybody. *squinchy face* Ted works early tomorrow, so I think I’m going to get up when he does and go up on an early train to Dublin to deliver Christmas presents and marshmallow creme to the fambly, and come back…
