Okay, so this is my thought about NaNoWriMo. Finishing the rewrites on Urban Shaman is *way* higher in priority, particularly as I’m not doing NaNoWriMo for the purposes of Writing A Novel. I’ve done that several times. The purpose of me doing NaNoWriMo is to enter a contest which closes on Dec. 31; if I succeed in that, I’ll be delighted. If I don’t, I’m not going to be crushed. pumpkin!
I took some pictures of the pumpkin I carved! The only problem is the photos didn’t show that the ear made a light-shadow on the wall beyond it, which looks preeeeeetttttty darned cool. Anyway, Happy Halloween!

I’ve discovered it’s a lot more fun to carve pumpkins when it’s Mommy or Daddy who do the hard work of scraping all the pumpkin innards out first. :)
