I have never come so close to walking out of a movie in my life. Seriously, if Ted hadn’t been with me, I think I’d have been out of there in the first ten minutes. The reason why, full of spoilers, behind the cut. So is a fair bit of swearing.

You guys maintain the level of awesome SO HIGH it is nearly impossible to keep up with you. The four items I had in the Magick 4 Terri auction have sold for a total of $1200. The short story went to Bill Schafer at Sub Press–who claims he’s actually buying it as a gift :)–and the three sets (sets! they all sold as SETS!) of the books for my nephew went at $100, $250 and $400 respectively. that’s customer service.

This afternoon I posted on Twitter saying I kept checking to see if my nephew’s book had shipped from Lulu.com, not that Lulu was late in shipping them (because they weren’t), but because I was antsy and impatient. A couple hours later I got a notification saying they’d shipped. I said yay! on Twitter. “Total coincidence,” I said, “but yay!” The luludotcom guy there said “Total coincidence my foot! Magick 4 Terri auction

Just a quick note to say the Magick 4 Terri auction, supporting editor/author/artist Terri Windling, closes in about 24 hours. The “Get your own CE Murphy short story as a Christmas present!” commission is at $350, which I might say is a bargain.
