I’ve just finished reading Steven Barnes’s LION’S BLOOD, which has been on my TBR shelf for just under two years. I started having the impulse to actually read it a day or two ago, and now I’m glad I did. It’s really a very good book, much more satisfying than the other book of his I read some, uh, 15 or more years ago. That one (GORGON’S CHILD) I *wanted* to like, but it fell flat.
