FINALLY all the October books I wanted were out, so we went forth to have a bookstore accident. We failed. William S. Lind, whom I’ve never heard of, has some bloody intelligent things to say about the nature of war and the current situation we’re in. Lyrically speaking, not the most lovely of writers, but very precise and to the point.
