It don’t hardly seem possible, but I’ve done everything on my get-ready list, and I am prepared to go to ComicCon. I’ve added a reading on Sunday at 12:30 in Room 24A, where the California Browncoats are generously inviting Whedon-friendly writers to come in and read a bit of their own work. That makes a panel, two signings, and a reading over the weekend. I am *extremely* pleased by this.
My final schedule, for the value of “final” which means “this is likely to change at any moment” and also “yes I realize I would have to be Jamie Madrox to accomplish some of these things”, is something like this:

I’ve got no idea at all what my access is going to be like. I’m not bringing the laptop, so I may be depending on the kindness of strangers and internet cafes.
Arright. I’m off to figure out what books I’m bringing on the long plane flight (particularly since it’s a long flight which arrives at bedtime, so it’s better if I don’t sleep), to pack a toothbrush and my contacts, and to basically call it good. I’ll be back a week Tuesday, though with any luck there will be at least one post from me during the week.
miles to Isengard: 110
If you find and gush over Wendy Pini, I want to see a picture.
And to further illustrate the smallness of the world… Apparently, your friend Goth_Huntress is a good friend of one of MY college friends who happens to live out California way. *boggles*
