…if you had a choice between a whole Chance-world origin story or an introduction to a new modern character in the Chance world, which would you prefer? I actually have an artist lined up (possibly even two) so I’m trying to get ducks in a row for doing some kind of mini-stories for web release and maybe eventual Comixology release. Speaking of which, I’ve just taken the first small step toward getting Chance prepared to submit to Comixology by getting my colorist to redo 3 or 4 pages where we…
a month of workouts, i hope
I live in the eternal belief that tomorrow, or next week, or next month, or next year, I’m going to wake up an entirely different person and actually do the (insert great thing) here that I intend to do. I never actually do this, of course, but I live in eternal hope. However, having just come off two weeks of slovenly gluttony during which I blew out the thigh of my last pair of jeans, forcing me to go participate in the horrendous activity of clothes shopping, I’m…not exactly seized.…

Recent Reads: The Tamir Triad
I very nearly did not finish even the first book (THE BONE DOLL’S TWIN) of this trilogy, nevermind the whole thing, but damn, I’m glad I did. I’d had it recommended to me a while back when I was thinking about the structure of a YA series I want to write someday. As it happens, it doesn’t do the thing I was thinking about, which is neither here nor there, but holy wow is it well written. I mean, really, really well written, to the point that despite the fact…
