Ok, I’ve set up a flickr photostream for my Project365. Doing this might even get me posting at kitsnaps () again, which is nice. I’ll probably only update once a week for a while (maybe for always) since I’ll be largely offline the next few weeks, but that should be okay as long as I remember to take pictures more than once a week. :) Got most of my things to do done. I need to pack, but a reality check says I’m not going to do that until tomorrow.…
Well.
Well. I went forth to buy some summer clothes today, and spent over two hours shopping, which is my personal idea of hell. Moreover, I didn’t like much and what I did like I couldn’t afford, with the exception of a linen dress which had a broken zipper on the one size that fit me. That sucked. Ted, however, cleaned up, as I picked up the new D&D books for him and also found THE SPOOK’S MISTAKE, which must’ve just come out Tuesday. So at least that was a win.…
*mrrrrgh*
Frakking Ticketmaster’s released extra “gold circle” tickets at a totally reasonable price for the Bon Jovi concert on Saturday and Ted’s given me permission to go without him, but there is just no practical way to do it. drive-by posting
I’m blogging today over at Simply Romance Reviews. I also got name-checked in a Library Journal article on urban fantasy, which makes me quite happy. Walked down the canal until I reached the end of the walk today. It was the first time since leaving Alaska that I’d been on a walk that actually felt like it had some element of wilderness to it. It’s nothing at all like the coastal trail in Anchorage or anything (and, y’know, there are horses and cows along the trail instead of moose and…
lifestyle changes
All right. The deed is done; now I will talk about it some. A while ago I talked about living in and fitting into Ireland, and the attendant difficulties therein. We’ve been trying to come up with solutions, and have made at least one decision that we think is going to help quite a bit: we’re moving to a much less expensive town (*much* less expensive: we’re talking very literally nearly twice the house for half the cost). We’ve rented a house in Longford, the town my parents moved to…
