We just watched Indiana Jones & the Raiders of the Lost Ark, which really holds up surprisingly well. I didn’t see it for the first time until…I don’t know, sometime in the late nineties, but I remember thinking that the heroine didn’t suck, and in fact, upon watching it again, I kinda think she’s the best damned female lead of the 80s. Not insipid or reliant on Indiana to save her in a crunch, even if there was a little too much “INNNNDEEEEEE!”-ing. Got through chapter 12 today and started…

Yoga class last night was pleasant in a sort of “I don’t really feel like I’m getting much out of this” way. The class last week felt more…achivey. I (we) did, however, learn the sun salutation, which I’m not any good at at *all*, and feel very clumsy doing. I have just stolen this graphic from and intend to use it until I’ve finished these damned revisions. Actually, I’m getting a little depressed over how much revising I’ve got to do. *sigh* I keep going through the manuscript trying to find scenes I can salvage for the part that I’m currently at, and everything I find has to be so completely rewritten that there’s not even any point in trying to use the original text as a jump-off point.
