Possibly I should learn to not put down an estimated wordcount for the day. I sat down at Nook and read the 88 pages I had, and thought, wow, no idea what happens next. I needed more setup. So I went back and put in more setup, about 9 pages worth, and now I know what to do next. So I’m *just* shy of 100 pages and about one chapter short of finishing the setup, I think. The initial setup, anyway, and that comes out about right. But anyway, unless…

wagon, meet kit. kit, wagon.

Having eaten a truly astounding amount of food in the last week, and being visibly pudgier than I was ten days ago and grumpy about it, I am declaring a moritorium on eating poorly and getting back on the wagon. Today’s goal: do weights as well as walk to the post office. Short term goal: 3 days of actually sticking to a WW plan, counting points and all. They went into Cork before us after a breakfast of blueberry pancakes (mmMMmm!), and had a fine time trundling around,…

*tud*

Ted’s on a kick to prove he can cook, or something. Good Lord. He made a stuffed pork loin and braised leeks for dinner and followed it up with chocolate mousse with a raspberry coulis, which I greedily had two servings of. Ye gods. Dinner was one of those wonderful meals where the last bite was as good as the first one. I’m going to have to start … restraining myself, or exercising a lot more, if he’s going to be cooking like this. God in Heaven. *staggers around in…
