Testing your yeast
A second batch of bread utterly failed. Either the bread gods hate me or the yeast is bad. I’ve certainly gone through a lot of flour today, though. :P I’m up to about page 80 on PHOENIX LAW. For the first time in a very long time I measured out my breakfast cereal. They seem to think 3/4ths cup of raisin bran is a serving. It’s not very damned much, I tell you that. Would somebody in the States be willing to go get a money order and send it to Hong Kong for me? This ebay auction I’ve won doesn’t do Paypal and I can’t get the online payment service they do use to work for me.
