So when my friend Emily came over, my friend Kate took us on a truly magnificent lecture tour of Kinsale and surrounds. I took roughly six billion pictures and have posted nearly none of them. Kitsnaps: Orange
And then there’s the moment you glance out the window at sunset and the orange light falling on the orange boards and the orange cat makes everything the exact same hue, and all you have to do is grab the camera before the cat gets bored and moves away. :)

I’ve said before and will probably say again that the sunsets were the best thing about living in Longford. This is pretty high up there in my Favorite Pictures I’ve Taken list. :)
Kitsnaps: Youghal Lighthouse
Youghal (pronounced y’all. no, really!) lighthouse in County Cork. We’d been living in Cobh (pronounced cove), which is one of the largest natural deep-water harbors in the world, and the waters there are very calm and quiet. Coming out to Youghal for a day and watching the Atlantic smash against the rocks was quite a shock after the so-quiet cove waters. The lighthouse there is no longer in commission, but it’s very, very attractive. :)

It’s not easy to get a picture of a diving sea lion when you’ve got to manually focus the heavy lens and keep an eye on a dashing little boy!
