redesign, mark 2

Ok, folks. I don’t know how it’s hanging for you out there, but this variation on the theme suits me better. I discovered very quickly that the dropdown menu annoyed me more than the space-saving pleased me. It might’ve been happier all around if the dropdowns had worked perfectly, but they didn’t, so they’ve been dumped.

I’ve checked this on Opera and Mozilla. Mozilla’s still got the weird-ass scrollbar at the bottom and I don’t know what’s up with that, but it seems to work fine on Opera. Lemme know if other browsers have issues.

I went to the gym today for the first time in, like, living memory. I also walked, but only a mile, and dammit, I don’t feel like doing more, so I’m not going to. -.- I’ll write down my gym workout later, maybe, so I can remember what I did. Basically, though, it was All Wussy All The Time. Boy am I in bad shape.

I’m gonna go watch some tv now, I think.

  1. Works well enough on my Opera, though the green box with the links is somewhat dominant on the top there. (Btw, is it intentional that the top right box says ‘thinks to do’?)

I haven’t been to the gym in living memory either. Oof. It opens in three hours, I’ll be standing in line when it does so I can get this gymming thing over before I can think up more excuses not to. Gym is good, once you get past that doorstep mile!

  2. Is it dominant because of the color or is it dominant because it’s hanging over other features? If it’s the color, well, that’s ok with me. :)

Yes, it says ‘Thinks’ on purpose. It’s something silly my daddy says. :)

Yay Janne! Go to the gym! Yay!

  3. Yeah, Catie and I were talking the other day about that…It’s not the BEING at the gym that is the hard part, it’s the getting motivated to GO to the gym that’s tough.

  4. Not for me. I hate gyms. I’ve gone to them, stood around feeling like an idiot, and left. Hate them, hate them, hate them. Couldn’t even stand the SRC unless I was there to fence or watch Kevin play Ultimate indoors.
