I gave up. I got to 5200 words and nominally finished chapter eleven (and have less nominally officially hit the 1/3rd mark, YAY!), but I know that the truth of the matter is that tomorrow I’m going to have to go finish this scene, which really finishes chapter eleven, and it’ll turn out that *everything* I wrote earlier today as chapter 11 is going to be chapter 12, which will be nearly finished once it’s been cut and pasted into place.

Right at this moment I feel rather like , who realized three quarters of the way through the latest in his epic fantasy series that he was in fact writing two books at once, because it was just too huge to be one book. The good news for him was that it meant he was halfway done with the second book! The good news for me is that this was only 25 pages worth of this sort of thing, instead of 5,000. :)

I did get a whole page of Chance written yesterday, which seems rather pathetic. OTOH, if I do one page a day I’d get a script done every month, which wouldn’t be bad at all. Not that I have the *slightest* desire to do a page tonight…

Gilmore Girls is chickflick crack. I’ve only got one disc left in season 1. I’m failing my regulate intake roll EVERY TIME. I have !netflix movies sitting around sadly neglected while I get my GG fix!
