Ted and I went into Cork today, mostly to see “Children of Men”, which left us both kind of staggering. It’s really very good, but it’s *extremely* emotionally intense and *really* doesn’t let up. I’m not entirely sure I’d have gone to see it if I’d known how relentless it was, but it was well worth watching. We hit Other Realms after that and picked up comic books, and staggered home to eat morally inferior food and goof around on the computer all night.

My favorite scriptwriter for TV ever, Doris Egan, joined Tru Calling for the last bit of the first season (around Ep 16 or 17), and what there was of 2nd season.
She’s got an LJ: tightropegirl. One of the older entries contains a bit of fleshing out of what she was hoping to do with the series in season 2.
(She’s really the reason I watched Dark Angel, Smallville, Tru Calling, and now House…)
