poke fops– my older son called them fork chops sometime in his childhood, and they have been fork chops ever since…
There is also the pink chicken we served our oldest grandson who would eat nothing but chicken. So we told him the ham we were having for supper was pink chicken. He liked it. Eventually, we were able to tell him it was ham. We have also eaten brown chicken (tender pot roast) and fish chicken… Hey, it worked.
gavin just read to me some friend of his whose parents had tricked him into eating “sea hamburgers” — crab cakes :)
