totally unfair.

Yesterday I went into one of the second-hand shops and found a vintage 1970s (don’t look at me like that, the 70s are vintage now) full-skirted ankle-length red leather coat for fifty quid.

It was one size too small. Not one “if I knock off fifteen pounds it’ll fit” too small, but one “it would require major reconstructive surgery either on the coat or my shoulders to fit well enough to lift my arms more than thirty degrees” too small. *Totally* unfair. However, if anybody reading this has a burning desire to own a vintage red leather coat in a size 14 (or 12, if you like your coats a little roomy), I know where you can find one. :)

It’s probably just as well this shirt doesn’t come in baby sizes. I’m tempted to buy one for a quarter century hence, though. :) (hat-tip to Lithera for the link!)

I need to go answer a bunch of email, empty the compost and wash the diapers. I’m sure there are other things I need to do too, but that’ll be good for today, anyway.
