THE QUEEN’S BASTARD is officially done. It’s 580 pages long, which is well and away the longest book I’ve ever written.
I wrote a paragraph today that I am totally, completely, utterly happy with. It does everything I want it to. I think it’s elegant. It’s got a little of that GGK chocolatey doom feel to it. And no, I won’t quote it here, because it would more or less spoil the whole book. But I’m very happy with it. :)
And there we go. It’s submitted.
Bwah! :)
(Holy shit, this is my 10th manuscript for publication. I should celebrate!)
Yay, chocolatey doom!
Congratulations. :)
Congrats on #10!
So, is 11 going to be for The Shade?
:)
*laugh* Unfortunately, no, and neither are 12-15, at least not as currently contracted… :)
Congrats!
Managed to pick up Coyote Dreams in London – hope to have read it before I see you in two weeks.
Congratulations!
Congrats! I’m trying to finish up my durn edits too, but mine are dragging out.
Still, my 390 pages is a lot more palatable than your 580. Whew – that must have been a marathon!
Yay! 10 is quite a lot, isn’t it? Definitely a celebration excuse.
Oh! Excellent, I hope you enjoy it! Where’d you find it?
Ten is in fact quite a lot, and even more when you consider that my first novel came out two years ago last month. o.O Yay!
Yes, you should. Unwrap some chocolatey doom, and enjoy…
Huzzah, manuscript #10! *throws confetti* That’s definitely worth celebrating. :)
Congratulations! Go, celebrate!
*Passes over a celebratory chocolate martini.* Congrats!
Go mutant Kit! Go mutant Kit!
(Because 10 is a ridiculous amount of work for such short time…)
Remind us again of your publishing schedule, please?
WOO HOO.
Wow and CONGRATULATIONS
So, celebration? This coming weekend? 10 is an amazing number but totally nuts and out there when put with first publication of 2 years ago.
I got coyote Dreams in the post today so there goes tidying the hall and garden..
**snoopy dance**
Well done.
