THUNDERBIRD FALLS is #3 on the Locus Trade Paperback Bestseller list for August.

That, as my husband just said, doesn’t suck.

    We sighted the book in Borders twice last week. The first time there were 8 copies on the shelves (and I, being sneaky, turned them to face forward). The second time there were only 3 left.

    YAY!

  17. Congrats! It’s kinda funny, I read the book a month or so ago and whenever I think of it all that I can recall is the last scene because it was so awesome…its on replay in my head.

  24. Mind you I’m not surprised. I picked you up from that luna book series (winter moon was it?) and started gibbering until I found more, consumed both Urban Shaman and Thunderbird Falls with voracious appetite, and then gibbered more at the fact that I can’t have Coyote Dreams yet…

    I am, in fact, very pleased that a whole world of people shares my point of view in this.

  28. I don’t know how to say this in a better, non-gush way but I have to say that I bought Winter Moon for the Mercedes Lackey and I was more, much more, impressed by your story. I have to ask if they plan to reprint Urban Shaman? I now want to read it! It will be hunted down.

    I’m wyvernfriend on LibraryThing as well, and in case you’re wondering if (or how) wierd I am ask or who know me fairly well.

URBAN SHAMAN has been reprinted as a trade paperback (it’ll be out in mass market sometime next spring) and you should be able to get it online through Amazon.uk, or failing that, amazon.com (I’m assuming you’re in Ireland, where you can’t actually buy the book unless you happen to be in Cork City, where a friend of mine does the ordering for the sf/f at Other Realms).

  30. I’m glad to hear that, seeing as how the other version is going for between around $20 to $110 on Amazon/abebooks and you get nothing out of that I’m happy to hear that it’s going to be more available!

  31. p.s. indeed I’m in Dublin. Would prefer to be in Galway where I’m from but I’m a librarian and Dublin is where the job is.
