Just got email from Matrice who said the marketing department wanted a bio from me Right Now.
C.E. Murphy, who goes by Catie in real life, lives in Alaska, where she was born and raised, with her husband, roommate and pets, with whom she was not born and raised. She works as a web designer by day, because she has a degree in English and History, and the only practical thing you can do with
that kind of degree is write books.…oh, wait.
More information about Catie and her writing can be found at her website, www.cemurphy.net.
I’m beginning to think this might be, you know. Real….
Or teach english and history…hehe…thats what I do with my english and history degrees!
You mean your real name isn’t Kit? ;) Yay for bio!
Only special people get to call me Kit. :)
Besides, I still haven’t accustomed myself to ‘Kit Murphy’. Kit’s last name is Ellis. o.o
*laugh* You sound like one of my other clients was sounding earlier this year as her first book hit all the various stages of production and pre-publication. I still expect her to have a reality break when the book hits the shelves.
Woo! :)
I read your bio & immediately dashed to http://www.cemurphy.net. I was sure that I would see your bio *again*, and thus be able to wail “no there’s not!!”
I’m so disappointed! And so excited for you–you have a BIO!!
*laughs out loud at Jai* Erm, sorry? *laugh*
I have a bio! With a lot of commas in it! :)
Power to the Commas!
Yay for the bio! And I’m special and get to call Kit Kit, but Kit has no last name. She is simply Kit and all the universe should know that. Kind of like Cher, Madonna, and Bono!
Curiously enough, I never refer to you as Kit Murphy. If I need to use your last name, you’re Catie or C.E. :) Er, not that you particularly care to know that, but this is more fun than doing a Philosophy take home exam. :)
I think it’s excellent to be like Cher, Madonna, and Bono. :)
It strikes me as appropriate to call me Kit except when you have to use my last name and then defaulting to Catie or C.E. :)
Eeeeeeee! I need your autograph!
Man, this gives me such a feeling of glee. ^_^
