TBR Shelf

More in the ongoing exploration of what’s on my TBR shelf, virtual as it may be. This has been great, honestly: it’s reminded me of LOTS of books I’d forgotten about. And as of when I started writing this particular post, I’ve only bought four new ones… :D Still only linking to Amazon (all links are affiliate, I will earn some bitty percentage if you click through and use my links, etc etc etc) for these titles instead of doing the whole kit & kaboodle but if there are books…

are we retrospectiving?

Are we doing the 2024 Retrospective thing? Yeah? We are? Okay, well, I did a metric shit tonne this year, and I know it, and of course I also didn’t get anything like nearly as much as I needed or wanted to done. But let’s focus on the positive. I will now have…

knitting – ten days

I’ve been knitting to keep myself offline/from doomscrolling, and it’s working pretty well except, as with everything I ever do, I’ve overdone it and my hands would like me to stop that nonsense now please. At four rows a day, which is what I’m now limiting myself to, I’m probably not quite overdoing it, but I’m not going to finish this thing in thirty days, which had been my goal. I should probably embrace the idea that it’ll keep me offline longer if I keep working on it slowly and…
