*sigh*

So far today I have torn my right thumbnail, stubbed the toes of my left foot, and fallen down the stairs again. The dog has eaten the entirety of the rawhide bone she had, and is bored and thus much less willing to lie around all day while I work. The spasmy place in my back isn’t spasming right now, but it’s still tight and painful. Overall, I think I’d like to go back to bed.

o, joy. new back pain. upper back spasms under the shoulderblade. same thing happened in june when i was doing better, except it was neck spasms then. get all the lower stuff better adjusted, the upper stuff goes ‘oh my GOD’ and freaks out. if this is still happening in the morning, i will go visit dr. woody and whimper at him. *OW*.

She called back and said that I’m not an authorized name on the GCI account — which is a little freaking bewildering, because I think I set /up/ our local service with GCI — and so she apparently can’t do anything. Or something. :P

I just spoke with Agnes, a very nice woman at the RCA, who said that ACS has two customer queues, one of which is for ACS customers and which has a 24-48 hour turnaround, and the other of which is for GCI and which has a 3-4 week turnaround and a 1600 person waiting list. She said that the Public Utilities Commission is aware of this and that they’re investigating to see what the problem is, and that part of the problem is the fact that all the rules and…

stupid phones

Mom suggested I call the FCC. The FCC’s phone tree told me to call my state Public Utilities Commission (Harold told me to do that yesterday. Harold was right.). My Public Utilities Commission changed its name to the Regulatory Commission of Alaska, and I’d like to know how the hell I was supposed to know that without the internet? Well, ok, I’d have eventually called the phone directory and /probably/ they’d have it listed under both names although the phone book doesn’t, but still. Fnrt. Anyway, waiting til after lunch…
