Mom, Dad, Young Indiana and I went out to the Hill of Tara yesterday. This is one for my Bucket List, as I’ve wanted to go to Tara since I was about, oh, eight, and read A WRINKLE IN TIME and its companion novels, of which I believe A SWIFTLY TILTING PLANET may be my favorite. RIP Lucy-cat 1997-2010
My Lucy cat died yesterday. She was pretty old and had been fading for a very long time, but that doesn’t make it one bit easier. We’d had her ten years this month, and I miss her a lot. I’m turning comments off on this post. I’m sure you’re all very sorry, and I appreciate it, but I really don’t like having floods of emails coming in saying “I’m so sorry.” I will be making a post after this one, too. Please don’t leave condolences on it either.

We leapt out of bed this morning (for the value of ‘leapt’ which applies to parents of a four month old, which is to say, we staggered bleary-eyed and weary out of bed) and went to see “The A-Team”, which I thought was entirely enjoyable. I have successfully gotten my unlimited movies card! And gone to a movie on it! …not, however, Toy Story 3, because I had rashly trusted Brian’s information about the time and it turned out he was looking at Thursday’s schedule. :) So we went to the next available thing, which was “Knight and Day”, and which was probably not nearly as *good* a movie as Toy Story 3.
