This morning we toddled (or more accurately, bussed) to the American embassy to apply for Young Indiana’s passport and to register his birth. He looks exactly like his father in his passport photo. It’s hysterical. :) The bus ride to the embassy took longer than the whole process inside, so that was good. We had to raise our right hands and swear we’d told the truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth, but without a “so help me God” attached, which is good because I’d have balked. Probably not…

Young Indiana and I went out to Longford today to run errands. Our usual cab driver was Very Surprised Indeed to see us. :) But it was a darned good thing I employed his services, as one of the errands was dropping by our old house to collect the post, which I’d been told there was a lot of. I made it to Baby Cinema yesterday. The movie, a Woodie Allen film called “Whatever Works” was actually pretty enjoyable in the end, which is not really what I expect from Woodie Allen films. More importantly, however, Young Indiana was a delight, and indeed, the show was far less disrupted than one might have expected with 30+ babies there.
