I think the internet is sucking my will to live. I keep spending evenings staring blankly at a not-very-exciting computer screen instead of, say, going for a walk in the rare, utterly gorgeous weather we’ve been having. I think the solution here is No More Laptopping, which would be better for my shoulder anyway. I have, for a variety of reasons, utterly failed to go swimming yet this week. Tomorrow, she said determinedly. Tomorrow. I wonder if I dare go to the massage place without first slathering myself in sunblock.…

FANTASY MEDLEY give-away!
I feel as though I should not need to eat for a week. I swear, the human digestive system ought to work that way. Cold-blooded animals have a certain amount going for them. I suspect, however, that I’ll be hungry within a couple of hours… Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I feel very birthdayed. :) And I have a new pedometer and movies and a new bread-baking tin, which makes for quite satisfying birthday loot, if you ask me. :) The final tally for my two auction items…
happy birthday!
Happy birthday to ALL my birthday twins! Esmerel and Silkblade and Fahri and, er, desperance’s niece whose name I don’t know, and Novella and Morgan Freeman and Marilyn Monroe and Superman! It also probably explains (to me, anyway) why I’ve been spending so much time dinking around with photographs and kitsnaps rather than catching up on my reading. I hope someday I’ll be interested in reading again. o.O It has been a glorious weekend thus…
2 birds. 1 stone.
All right. I decided to upgrade Nook to an internet-capable computer, because I’m unwilling to give up the word wars (and because my birthday is Monday). But if I figured if I’m going to buy a new computer, I may as well buy something portable, because that way at least I can take my work with me very easily if I need/want to. Meet Nook 3.0: It’s a Samsung NC10 (sadly, not an NCC-1701), and it has, for sweet Christ’s sake, a 160 gig hard drive. I’m a *writer*. My…
