Forgive me, Pilates, for I have sinned. It has been two, maybe two and a half weeks, since I have worshiped at your altar. I blame Writing; she’s a jealous lover, and I was impressed with myself for remaining your disciple as long as I did. But now I understand the error of my ways. Now I understand that you, too, are a harsh mistress, and I am reminded of why it is your name, in its original Greek translation, is thought to mean “makes my muscles burn like fire”.…

sha boom sha boom
So far today I have walked, swum, made bread, made applesauce*, cleaned the kitchen, emptied the compost, made lunch, read part of a book, and made a grocery list. I would go shopping if we had any money, but we don’t, so now I’ll just wait for word wars. Oh, and upload pictures to see if any of them are any good. quick note
just to say “not dead yet!” I have a Kate for the weekend. We went out to Lough Key castle & forest & grounds today (we were on our way to Boyle Abbey, but we didn’t quite make it that far). That plan was nearly thwarted by me being an *idiot* and leaving my goggles, swim cap, shampoo and water bottle at the pool *last* time I went swimming, which was what, a week ago? However, in a fit of “they don’t…
