I am exceeding, exceedingly pleased to participate in this year in Brenda Novak‘s annual charity auction fundraiser for diabetes research. Last year she raised over a quarter of a million dollars, and is aiming for $300,000 this year. I had a dream this morning that I joined a weight loss group here in Longford. It had line dancing and Simon Cowell. Simon judged the group. Gah. I just had a perfectly horrible moment where I looked at the numbers and thought I still had 40,000 words left to write on this book. Then I realized I was subtracting the number of words I’d written this month from the total necessary, rather than subtracting the total words written from the total necessary.
