christmas shopping

Apparently half of Cork had the same idea I did this morning and got up and went shopping between 9 and 11. I cannot imagine the horror that must be starting to swell the streets now. God, I hate shopping. Next year I’m making kitsnaps calendars and giving them to everybody. *squinchy face* Ted works early tomorrow, so I think I’m going to get up when he does and go up on an early train to Dublin to deliver Christmas presents and marshmallow creme to the fambly, and come back…

spam spam spam spam spammity spam!

I had been admiring, the last few days, how very few spam messages I’d been getting. I thought maybe somebody’d been arrested or something, one of the major spam kings. But, well, hell, I’m at 264K right now, and there are 14 days (including today) left in the year. Pffffsssshht. I can do that. My walking goal is 600 miles. I’ve done 566. Pffffsssshht. I can do that. My reading goal was 78 books (1.5 a week, because it has become depressingly clear to me that I am not reading…
