Over the last couple of months I have gotten *lots* of emails saying, “I’ve visited your website and don’t see anything saying there will be more Walker Papers! Don’t tell me the series is ending! Augh!” I could’ve sworn I had something about it posted on cemurphy.net, but let me just make it clear: Don’t worry. The series isn’t ending. :) The next Walker Papers book (tentatively titled CAULDRON BORNE) will be out sometime in 2009, and I’m contracted for two more books after that. busy visity day!
Alarmingly, Ardian has caught up to me. I need to write the fifth issue of Chance. Ack. I also .really. need to get that resubmitted. Months have passed me by unwary. Meh. A man came to fix the washer, and sort of did. Another man came to deliver groceries, which was pretty cool. I’m going to have to call about the washer again, I guess. Bother. And I spent most of yesterday watching Firefly and Serenity, which was also pleasant in a very mind-numbing way. I did get some actual work done, and am in the actually typing in the revisions stage of revising TQB now. The weather’s being fairly relentlessly…
drive-by posting
*does a small dance of victory* The HANDS OF CHANGE proposal is off (and, inevitably, my editor is out of the office. I don’t think I’ve turned a single proposal or book in when she was *in* the office!), so that’s done. Now it’s just to finish the QUEEN’S BASTARD revisions over the next four days, if possible. I really, really like that book. It’s almost like reading something someone else wrote, the voice is so different. A Specialist came and fixed our shower! It works now! We’re very excited…
