Having leapt out of bed at the crack of 8:30 to try to get the dog outside before she threw up (I almost succeeded), I am now fiercely sleepy. All that adreneline rush, or something. :) Comment from my editor on the new look for PHOENIX is that while everybody in-house loved the look of the first two, numbers would indicate that readers didn’t necessarily respond similarly, so they’re hoping the new look will drive more sales. me & my big mouth :)

Just got the PHOENIX cover. It’s not … *bad*. It really isn’t. It’s just a bit shocking after the other two. It doesn’t match. art fact sheet :)

Working under the “easier to get forgiveness than permission” mindset combined with an, “It’s probably okay,” from the EA, I’m posting the AFS for HEART OF STONE. Quickly, my beauties! i’m awake!

In about twelve seconds my bright perkiness from walking home is going to wear off and I’m going to remember I’ve got a cold and collapse like a collapsy thing, but right now I’m all O.O and awake. Class was good. The verb conjugations I never learned satisfactorily in high school (primarily nosotros/vosotros) did not, somehow, in the past sixteen years, magically clarify themselves in my mind, and still kick my ass. I must remember to *study*. I must not put studying off until tomorrow every single day. I must…
