major cool.

I am awash with potential colorists. The “I can’t possibly afford you” pro was willing to make a deal. Then he saw the inks: “The work is indeed exemplary. The lead character has a great “Huntress” like feel to her, and the artist is very talented. [followed by, upon receiving the 300dpi page] …page looks 10 times better even than the small online preview. …I’ve toyed around with a few high rez McFarlane inked pieces I’ve got before, and the inks from your artist remind me a LOT of his…

small triumph (ww lock)

I’m down a pound, maybe a pound and a half from last week. I’m a combination of pleased and sort of moopful over that; one wishes, after all, to IMMEDIATELY OBLITERATE any weight one has put back on. But, well. At least I’m down. My big triumph over the last week has not been staying on points, but the simple fact that I recorded them all week. Well. Peace.” “Are you going to kill me?” “Yes.” “Why?” “Because there is no land of tolerance.” 3. “Legano, illegano…is gray area.” 4. “Remember what the Python boys say.” “What,…

geek joy!

I went to see Superman Returns again this afternoon. I love that movie. I will own that movie. I will watch that movie over and over and over again. But today I got extra giggly geek joy out of it, all unexpectedly. :) Some years ago, my mother and husband Conspired on a Christmas gift for Deirdre and me. Mom has a fantastic old cookbook she got from her mother, a basic cookbook that literally tells you how to boil water and make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches all the…
