*laughs* To my delight, the artist for the Dublin Laydeez Do Comics drew the aftermath of the cookies I made: I like how the plate says “gone!” :) Apparently having an artist do the, er, meeting notes, is standard for the Laydeez Do around the world, which is pretty nifty.

signal boost
So I have a reader, a woman whose name I know from the occasional email and several crowdfunding campaigns and chatting here and there over the past few years. Nice lady. Someone I think of in that fuzzy “friend” territory that the internet creates, you know? Acquaintance, however, is probably more accurate, since I didn’t learn that her oldest daughter is affected by something called Smith Magenis Syndrome until a few days ago, when Eleri cautiously announced she was doing a fundraiser. It does rather help knowing that if push comes to shove, I expect I could run a Kickstarter (perhaps for the 3rd Inheritors’ Cycle book) to cover my bases for a while. In the meantime, however, I do have a number of projects lined up–3 short…
