  1. My opinion: If the deadline isn’t until tomorrow, then they may still be reliable. Send email reminder.

  2. Do you really want to work with colorists who can’t remember when their work is due without email reminders? Or is that a silly question to ask an author used to dealing with external deadlines? :)

  3. Well, that’s why I put option #3 there. :) Much better, in fact, to just have things arrive in the email box in a timely manner!

  4. They may! But I think I’m inclined to see if they’re reliable without being reminded.

  5. Ah! I’d interrpreted the “let it go and let this indicate whether or not they are reliable” as “I haven’t heard from them and the deadline is tomorrow, so they suck and are not to be trusted.”

    That option makes sense now. I blame it on just waking up :D

  6. You absolutely don’t want colorists that can’t make the deadline for an _audition_ without prompting. They’ll never be on time on a regular basis. Don’t remind them before the deadline, you’ll learn more that way.

  7. Oh, no, I’m generally more laid-back than that. :) Even if people don’t turn stuff in, it doesn’t mean they suck, it just means they’re not at the level of professionalism I want. Good morning! :)
