EcoCabs! Everybody should have one of these! They should take cars away and make people drive these instead! It’d be great for everyone’s figures, and the roads would be much less terrifying! I must go to Dublin and ride in one of these!

You know, I just had to mimic you with the pixel-stained technopeasant wretch bit, and now, just on the other side, I feel the need to repost this as well…

There was a three wheeler – two small in front, one large in back – recumbant bike out in the eighties that I wanted to get. I was going to build a small trailer for it and bike around the country for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, they don’t make them anymore and I can’t find anything on them – they shared a name with the exercise bike: Lifecycle.
I would love it if everyone gave up on cars. Sure would make things nicer.
Those are very pretty, but they’re FAR from unique. “EcoCabs” are basically rickshas! There are tons of them in China and Southeast Asia. I’ve ridden in them many times, once as the driver. There are also natural gas and electric versions of them.

Tuk-tuks were introduced in London in 2005.

plenty of rain in dublin – part of the CHARM is the roof on the thing! a little rain helps a body grow, anyway, right?…
