I do believe I have a book here.

I’m not done. I’ve got four or five more chapters (I’m at just over 65K, chapters are averaging 2900 words, that all works out perfectly), but this last chapter went *really* well and I’ve stopped in the midst of another tension-filled scene, so picking up tomorrow should be fun and easy (as far as these things go). I’m quite delighted by the way things are working out, though you’d think I’d be used to the whole thing coming together by now. This is my, um. *goes to count* 10th novel. Generally, they do come together. None the less, I’m feeling quite delighted by the fact that it is and has.

I obviously need to make a habit of writing a book without surcease until it’s done. I don’t know that it’d always make things go this smoothly (*knock on wood*), but it’s sure not hurting.

4200 words today. I’m going to go kick back and watch me a couple episodes of La Femme Nikita now.
