It’s not actually a new month quite yet, but it’s Monday and tomorrow starts a new month so I’m calling it close enough. I have a bunch of improbable goals this month.
I have to get farther ahead on MAGIC & MANNERS, which is now approaching 40,000 words, actually, which is great. I’ve been obliged to actually buy a copy of P&P so I don’t have to keep squinting at my phone to read its text while I’m working at the cinema cafe. (Tangentially, I think Kobo’s computer interface is a real you-know-what in the ass, as we say in my family.) Anyway, reaching 50K is too lofty a goal but it’s a nice thought.
I have to finish revising this little 8 page comic script just so I get something done and feel like I’ve accomplished something.
But most importantly I need to finish my nephew’s 3rd book. I’ve got about 40K to go on it and it’s already horribly late to him and yeah. I gotta finish it. So that’s the big unrealistic goal.
And why, you ask, is it unrealistic? Well, because the next six weeks are full of visitors, visiting, and conventions, and so my goal of writing 2 hours a day is…unlikely at best. But I’ve really got to try, because I still have too much to do this year in terms of catching on writing and those books have got to be done.
Wow-
that sounds like a lot of projects- Im excited to see them when they come out.
GO Catie Go!!!
