Sorry you are having trouble. I have the Sony Touch, which I don’t think they make any more and I love it. Keep trying – I think it is worth the trouble.
How about a BeBook Neo or Club – more open source with more compatible formats. Get it from Play.com or http://www.mybebook.com directly. Pair it with calibre on your pc for a good reading experience!
