more shopping o.O

We went forth today and bought a car, more or less. It had no spare tire, the passenger side window didn’t roll down, and although it was advertised as having a radio, it didn’t. We told them to fix those things and fill the tank and we’d buy it. The guy hedged about filling the tank (€20 worth, he said, but I’ll insist he agreed to fill it), but otherwise they were willing to do those things, and so sometime early next week we’ll have a car. Then maybe we’ll go have some Adventures! :)

  1. Having independent transportation is definitely an asset when one is seeking adventures! Congratulations!

  2. Buy you a spare. No problem.
Fix the non-rolling-down window. No problem.
    Install a radio. No problem.
    Fill the gas tank. Priceless?

P.S. This from my three-year-old daughter who just peeked over my shoulder and saw your icon. “You found my girl. She’s my favorite.” Guess you make a great first impression. Come to think of it, one of your icons is how I first noticed you. Guess it’s some sort of genetic disorder.

    Cheat!

  4. What sort of vehicle? It doesn’t sound in too bad a state. Our first car was a free gift (family member emigrating) and was so crapped out that it was almost overpriced at that.

  5. It’s a 1994 Mitsubishi Colt with its NCT good through Jan 2009. Lil’ two door hatchback. If it gets us through a couple years that’ll be grand, and if it gets us through longer it’ll be grand altogether. :)

  6. I am! I walked two miles that day! The fact that I discussed the car is COMPLETE COINCIDENCE! O.O!

  7. Oh yeah?

The only reason you’re walking is you ran out of fuel and you’ve not found a Middle Earth filling station yet.

    *grin*
