oh, well, what the hell…

Stolen from half my flist:

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don’t blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don’t blog about, but you’d like to hear about, and I’ll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, favorite type of underwear, etc. Repost in your own journal so that we can all learn more about each other.

(…and yes, this is posted after I read Robin Hobbs’ rant, so I am fully aware of the irony of what I’m doing here…)

  1. The only thing I’d love to hear more about is your pre-writing process, or outlining, or whatever it is you do that you come up with your stories and get them all set.

Also, I finished HoC and I was so happy to *whispers*see Janx in dragon form. I was hoping we would. I was disappointed in his reaction, though; he seems more … I don’t know what the word is, but i was surprised how he jumped on Margrit like that. I really liked the ending with Alban.

I admit I thought it was a little slow in the beginning, perhaps because it was just a lot of TALKING (or felt that way), but then, it’s called The Negotiator for a reason, I s’pose.

  2. Also, as an aside, have you thought about tagging your entries? Not necessarily indexing the old ones (that’d take forever and a sunday) but at least start tagging the new ones?

I thought of this because in considering my comment above I thought I probably have asked you about outlining at some point but I don’t remember your answer and I have no idea how I’d find it, so I thought I’d ask about tags.

  3. Hmm…Where do you get your ideas? I bet no one has ever asked you that–just kidding.

I’d like to hear more about your grandmother, Cate Dermody. Since you went through all the trouble of naming one of your pen names about her, she must be pretty special. If I remember correctly, she passed away recently so if she is still too painful to talk about, nevermind.
