Okay, lads, this is what I’m going to do with the Angles revisions: This is a crowdfund thing that will probably run about six months, since I figure I’ll get the revisions done around the end of June. That’s my goal, anyway, so I’ll set a delivery deadline of July 1, 2011. Here’s the catch: I may close the commission as early as April 14, 3 months from now, if I get it done by then. I may give 24 hours’ notice about it closing, or I may not. I’ll…
Inheritors’ Cycle update
I’ve had a number of people ask over the past couple of years whether there would be more books about Belinda and Javier (THE QUEEN’S BASTARD, THE PRETENDER’S CROWN). I finally have an update about that, and the answer is, “Not for the foreseeable future.” This is a business decision, not a lack of enthusiasm. But let me point you at an excellent post about the effects of illegal downloading on authors, and let me make it clear that when I say “authors” I mean “me”. I haven’t gone to the trouble of numbers…
I love my job.
“Gosh,” I thought to myself, “when I go back to work, will I write the scene where Gary gets his throat cut, or the story where Margrit’s mother embarks on a passionate affair with Eliseo Daisani*?” Then I thought GOD I LOVE MY JOB! *One of these things does not actually happen.
