not the briar patch!

I got new glasses (again, yes, but they were real cheap! seriously. like $11!), and Ted, upon seeing them, said, “Those will be great with your pinup dress.” That was, in fact, much of why I’d chosen the ones I had, so I was delighted. Then he said, because I have several pairs of blue glasses, “Now you need to get a blue dress!” O NOES BRER BEAR NOT THE BRIAR PATCH! Because my glasses are really mostly teal, not blue proper, these appear to be my choices: The Sparrow,…

five things make a post

Thing One: Thanks to my mom, who is a hero of the revolution, I got 300 of 400 pages revised yesterday. They (“They”) say everybody’s got a doppleganger somewhere in the world. Me, at last count, I had six. I’m reminded of this because Agrimony saw me a few nights ago at a Jeff Duhham show in New England, when she knew perfectly well I was at home sleeping in my bed in Ireland. The first time someone said she knew somebody who looked just like me I was nine years old. I’d just moved into town and was going to a new school and a girl said to me, “You’re…
