WAYFINDER is done in rough draft form, coming in at 101.5K. I’m taking the rest of today and tomorrow off, and will fling myself into hairy nasty horrible revisions on Thursday morning, the better to have them completed by (ideally) close of business on Friday so I can have the weekend off before starting another book. Yeah, no, sorry, that’s as much as I got. I’m gonna go blow spit bubbles now or something… The Road Home: miles to Isengard: 126.3 ytd wordcount: 73,200 ytd km swum: 23.5

Then I get to take the weekend off and start all over again on Monday with SPIRIT DANCES. *headdesk* The Road Home: miles to Isengard: 123.9 ytd wordcount: 71,300 ytd km swum:…

It gives me hope that if I ever actually applied myself to drawing daily, I could actually…

I did a bunch of stuff this morning–made bread & cinnamon rolls, cleaned the kitchen, addressed & packed up all the Strongbox envelopes, sorted out my Book Closet a bit now that there are 20+ fewer books in it–and although I’d kind of intended to write today, by that time it was 2 and it didn’t seem very likely. So I pottered around a bit and then sort of went “well, what the hell, I’ll see if anybody’s in the war room, maybe I’ll get a little written…” was there,…
